INTRODUCTION

At the turn of the century, natural resources have been continuously used until today. Many researches had been carried out to seek for an alternative way to replace the depleting natural resources. At a world today with intense growth and rapidly developing economies, natural resources have been increasingly demanding and important. Many initiatives had been taken throughout the years to remind ourselves of our responsibility in taking care of Mother Nature. Thus, sustainable development has now been the global focus.

This year, UTP Research Paper Conference 2012 (URPC 2012) brings you a whole new level of researches. With the theme of "Continuous Innovation As Catalyst For Sustainable Development", studies will be carried out and results will be presented as a contribution to the journals for further review and sharing.

URPC 2012 welcome the participation of Undergraduates from UTP, especially those who are in their final year or with broad experience in researches. The conference will provide continuous innovations and findings within each field of studies that will help rebuild and sustain regional and global growth.
